actually,, you just need to do a %26lt;br%26gt; between codes..

just mess around putting %26lt;br%26gt; between where you want them..and it will work just fine.

Ok, so I used a layout from this site topbun.com. However, I tried to add stuff like online icons, graphic icons, and other embedded stuff but it won't show on my page. What could it be?

I didn't have a problem with doing all those things with just a myspace background generator. So the layout doesn't support embedded materials? Is it like that with most layouts you use for myspace? Finally, what can I do? I really like the layouts I picked but I want to add more stuff too! Can somebody recommend some layout sites I can go to that will support that kind of stuff?Thanks!

it could be that the background is on top of the other things you are trying to add, so they are there you just can't see them. You could try getting the code for the icons etc. from a different place so you can still use the background.

well is suppose if worse comes to worse you could right click on the background of the layout and put it into a code yourself or have somebody else do it.

lol i would just copy those codes and paste on where-ever i want.

However, those codes can be created using:

-Hold Alt+ pressing random numbers on number pad on the right of your keyboard. (eg: Alt + 3 4 6 2 4)

-Using character maps in Windows by following this instruction:

+Start %26gt; All Programs %26gt; Accessories %26gt; System tools %26gt; Character map

In here, you should have a lot of fonts, just choose a font you like, look for the symbol, and double-click on it. then you can copy + paste it.

On the picture page how do you put an icon in the caption space? Becuase when i put the code there, the picture doesnt come out, all u can see are two dots or the actual code... how do i make it so the icon appears?

If I understand you correctly, you want to put an icon in the caption area for a picture. To do this, the picture needs to be uploaded to the web. If it is located on your computer only, no one else will be able to see it when they look at your MySpace page.

After having said that, if you have this icon already in your headline, then it must already be somewhere on the web.

Go to Edit Profile and look at your Headline section. Is there an image tag that looks like %26lt;img src="http://location of file/file_name.jpg"%26gt;? Select and copy everything from the first "%26lt;" to the "%26gt;" at the end.

Go back to Home and click on Add/Edit Photos. Find the picture you want to add a caption for and click -Add Caption- underneath it. Paste the image tag into the caption area using Ctrl-V or just right-click in the space and select Paste. You should see %26lt;img src="http://location of file/file_name.jpg"%26gt; in the box. Add any additional text, then click -Update Caption-.

You should get the Confirm Caption page showing the icon, not just the text, if you did it correctly. If no picture, then try again from the beginning, making sure you got everything from your headline section.

Click on the Post Caption button, then voila! You should have it.
