How to start a myspace layout web site?

i wanna start a layout site but i dont no were to start. i wanna use a regular myspace page but and jus add

layout

codes

icons

but i dont no how to do it. like say sum1 wants the code for sumthing how can they get it...like how do i let them get the code bc if i put the code on there instead of the code bein the code it will show up so i cant get them to preview it...sum1 please help...i dont no how to explain....i need a layout that will allow me to put my layouts and icon on there and the ppl click and get the codes....PLEASE ANSWER ME!!! and make sure you explain step by step...thankz

So, you first want to get the code for YOURSELF and post that wherever it is that you're "fans" Remember though, that when you want to put a picture on a Blog, that MySpace Blogs won't let you use HTML codes and have them show up. So, you want to use this code so you're "fans" see what the codes is for:

ok so im not completely sure what you're asking but i think i understand..u mean if you put the code for a layout instead of it showing up as the text it will just apply the code to the page? i think thats what you mean..lol

well most layout sites on myspace put the codes, etc in blogs and then link to the blog somewhere on their page. and im pretty sure this will work:

%26lt;div style="height:100px; overflow:auto;"%26gt;%26amp; lt;style type="text/css"%26amp; gt;CODE HERE%26amp; lt;/style%26amp; gt;%26lt;/div%26gt;

make sure you get rid of the spaces (%26amp; lt; and %26amp; gt;)..no spaces btwn %26amp; and l or btwn %26amp; and g..hopefully this isnt too confusing [=

the think is for the brackets or whatever you call them %26lt;,%26gt;..you cant just type them you have to use the html code for them:

%26lt;=%26amp; lt;

%26gt;=%26amp; gt;

omit the spaces

I'm not really sure what you're saying, but I think you're trying to say you don't know how to display the code for a layout? You just put %26lt;textarea%26gt;code here%26lt;/textarea%26gt; and the code will appear in a box for people to copy.
