i tried to get this "drum" online now icon on it but it wont work, it goes right back to the original one that comes with the profile. and i've tried others but its allways the same results that happen.

You could have it hidden.
Go to Account Settings.
Click Privacy Settings. [Change Settings]
Then go under the box that says Privacy Settings, its like the 3rd one down.
if the box next to Hide Online Now is check, uncheck it and click Save Settings.
If its not check check it and uncheck it.
If that is still not working, it could be your layout.
